The Chinese Orchestra was launched on 23rd March 2007 at 3.00pm.

PIBG Chairman, Mr Beh officiated the launch, in the presence of LPS representative, Mr Wong and Old Pupils' chairman, Mr Lim, AMP.; their respective committee members and some parents.

Principal Pn Ng, assistants, Mr Gee, Mr Chang, Mr Lim ES and Pn Teh were also on hand, as well as some other teachers.

A stage performance was given by the guest chinese orchestra from Alor Star.
