On 5th April 2007, Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Raja Muda Perak, Raja Nazrin Shah Ibni Sultan Azlan Muhibbudin Shah visited SMJK Ave Maria Convent Ipoh and presented the prizes to the PMR and SPM's top scorers during the Majlis Hari Anugerah Cemerlang ke-50. The theme of the visit is "Respecting Differences Promoting Understanding".
