Our school had the honor to organise the "Malaysia's 50th Independence Day Calligraphy Competition" together with all the Perak Chinese school.

       This compettion was divided into three categories. One for primary school students, one for secondary school students and one is open to the public. As a result, this competition was participated by many students and adults from Perak. The different clubs in our school gave a variety of performance, including dances and song numbers.

       All 3 winners from yr primary school category are from Yuk Choy primary school. The winners for the secondary school category are from Ave Maria, Yuk Choy and Poi lam. The winner of the open category is Siew Lee Wah.
