A course on "Public Speaking" was held in the school on 19 July 2008, from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. for the AMC teachers. The invited guests were from Ipoh Toastmaster, Mr Cheah Tong Kim and Mr Peter Ng.

            Mr Cheah, a seasoned Toastmaster gave us enlightening session on :-

•(i)                 Conquer the Fear of Public Speaking

•(ii)              Organize Your Speech

Mr Peter Ng, a Distinguished Toastmaster with 22 years of public speaking experience gave many practical tools and invaluable insights during his sessions on :-

•(i)                 Vocal Variety and Gestures

•(ii)              Impromptu Speaking

It was a Saturday, well-spent, with lots of fun and spontaneous laughter.
