SMJK Sin Min was honoured to have a visit from The Australian Defence Force School of Languages team on Monday, 15 September 2008.

The 6-member team included :

1. Colonel Stephen Tulley

2. Corporal Steve Crane

3. Able Seaman Ellen Williamson

4. Petty Officer Michael Kenna

5. Miss Kee Sock Ching

6. Mr. Chow Kok Leong

Among the objectives of the visit were the interest:

a. To get to know the Sin Min Staff and students

b. To understand the multiracial environment of a secondary school in Malaysia

c. Education System

d. Exposure on the use of Bahasa Malaysia
