National Teachers' Day Celebration Essay Writing Contest
23 Jun 2008 School Admin - SMJK HUA LIAN (PERAK, TAIPING) 

Daniel Ooi Boon Yann (Form 1A1) from SMJK Hua Lian,  won the Consolation Prize in The National Level Story Writing Contest in conjuction with The 2008 National Teachers' Day Celebration organised by the Ministry of Education of Malaysia.

The theme of the contest was "Thank you, teacher" and his winning entry carried the title, "To Sir with Love"
