4 students made SMJK Hua Lian proud with their impressive achievements in English essay writing. The results are as below:
1) April Melody Tan (Form 3A3) in Class B, won the Highly Commended
2) Ong Joo Howe (Form 5S1) in Class A, won the Commended
3) Daniel Ooi Boon Yann (Form 1A1) and Lim Huiqing (Form 1A2) both in Class C, won the Commended.
They will receive their certificates from The Royal Commonwealth Society via post.
