Retirement of Puan Tan Kim Kee

          Puan Tan Kim Kee has served in Heng Ee High School since 2003. In 2006, she had a brief stint teaching in SMK Westlands and she was back serving in Heng Ee High School since 2007 until she retired in 9th Nov 2012.

          All the while in Heng Ee High School, Puan Tan has been teaching Chinese Language to the Form 3 classes. From 2003 to 2010, she taught Physical Education to students from Form 1 to Form 5 as well.All these years serving in Heng Ee High school, Puan Tan has been one of the teacher advisers of Chinese Society. From 2003 to 2004, she was the teacher adviser of the School Reporter Club responsible for the printing of the school's bi-annual newsletter"Heng Feng"《恒风》.

          In 2005, Puan Tan started to take charge of the training of the school's Athletic Club. Before there was a clash in the allocated time for house practices and athletic practices, she was one of the teachers-in-charge of the Yellow House. She has also assisted Mr. Tan Keng Oon and later Miss Cheong Lay See in training the school Chinese debate team.

         Puan Tan hopes to go deeper in learning Chinese Traditional Culture and hopes to practise and spread her knowledge in this aspect more when she retires. She expresses her thanks to everybody in Heng Ee High School for making her time in the school a memorable one and she wishes everybody a HAPPY, FULFILLING and HEALTHY life. The school wishes to record its appreciation for all the good work done by Puan Tan Kim Kee over the years.
