PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION YEAR 2008
Lee Zhia Ern of SMJK Ave Maria Convent emerged the winner of the 2008 Public Speaking Competition ( District level) held on the 18th March 2008 in Mother Pauline Hall. A fifth former, Lee Zhia Ern spoke on the topic "Plastic Surgery". She was also one of the semi-finalists in English Speakers Union of Malaysia Competition held in Penang recently.
