Retirement of Miss Leong Peak Chui Date : 30 June 2008 Venue: Dato' Chin Pek Soo Hall Miss Leong Peak Chui received her secondary education in SMK Convent, Ipoh and continued her form six in SMK St. Michael, Ipoh. She graduated from Victory University of Wellington, New Zealand in 1979 and major in Mathematics. She got her Diploma Pendidikan from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1983. Before coming to SMJK Ave Maria Convent in 1997, she taught in SMK St. Bernadette's Convent, Batu Gajah 31000, Perak for 14 years and 3 months in SMK Kampung Pasir Puteh. She is a very dedicated teacher and the school will miss her very much.
