2017 First Lego League Open European Championship

FIRST® LEGO® League Open European Championship 2017 (FLLOEC 2017) was organized by FIRST Scandinavia in cooperation with The City of Aarhus, Aarhus University, Aarhus School of Marine and Technical Engineering and it-forum.  This LEGO MINDSTORMS Robotics competition is designed for children aged 10 – 16.  Around 300.000 children from all over the world participate every year in the program. The aim is to get children interested in science and technology and thereby create a basis for Universities to recruit young talents.

Malaysia’s Robotic Team comprises of 9 members from various schools, and two team members, Ong Xiang Jun and Po Kin Loon Cameron are students of SMJK Phor Tay. students from SMJK Phor Tay.  They participated in this competition in Denmark on 25 to 28 May in Aarhus and won gold, scoring the highest marks from amongst 119 participating teams across 50 countries.
