Mr. Kwok Chee Yen, the Principal of SM Sung Siew
Expresses Gratitude to Class 3E of 1982 for Their Generous Donation

To give back to their alma mater and support the relocation fund, 28 students from Class 3E of 1982 generously donated RM10,688 to SM Sung Siew in Sandakan. From December 6 to 8, 2024, the alumni hosted a reunion dinner, during which a check handover ceremony was conducted. The event was attended by the school’s principal, Kwok Chee Yen, who represented the school in receiving the donation. Both the Board of Directors and Principal Kwok Chee Yen extended their heartfelt thanks for this contribution.

This act of generosity not only reflects the alumni’s heartfelt gratitude towards their alma mater but also serves as tangible support and assistance for current students.

Having stood the test of a century, SM Sung Siew has been a warm harbor and a hall of knowledge for its students. Today, the alumni’s actions in giving back to their alma mater once again demonstrate the profound bond between the school and its alumni. The donation will be used to support the relocation fund, improve the school’s educational environment, and provide better learning conditions for future generations.

“校友情谊  代代相传”。为了回馈母校、支持迁校基金，1982年3E班一行28名学生，慷慨解囊，向山打根双修中学乐捐了RM10688，校友们于2024年12月6日至8日举办校友团聚晚宴，并进行支票移交仪式，由双修中学校长郭志恩代表出席，接受捐款。双修中学董事部及校长郭志恩对此表示诚挚感谢。此次慷慨捐助不仅是对母校的一份心意，更是对当前学生们最切实的支持和帮助。
