There are many Web resources that can help you with adding graphics to your pages. For instance, rather than creating new images from scratch, you might first wish to check some resources on the net from which you can download clipart already drawn. For example, check out The Clipart Universe. Further image resources may be found at this list of graphic links where you may find images that suit your needs with little or no modification.

You may also find it helpful to consult the following when choosing colors for images that you create yourself. The information here applies equally well to choosing the the colors of page backgrounds, the colors of main document text, and the colors of visited, unvisited, and accessed links (you'll see how these are controlled shortly):
