Dr. Kelvin Bowkett of Christ's College Cambridge will be giving a talk on Tuesday 18th March 2014 at 7PM in The International School of Penang (Uplands).
The title is 'Entering Oxbridge from Asia is not Impossible.'

Dr. Bowkett has vast experience in interviewing applicants not just for Christ's College, but for Cambridge University as a whole.
His brief resume follows:
Dr Kelvin Bowkett is a Life Fellow of Christ's College Cambridge and was for many years the College's Senior Tutor and Admissions Tutor. He has an academic and research background in Solid State Physics and Materials Science, and for five years he was Head of Science at Eton College. Twenty years ago he initiated a very successful annual programme of Cambridge admissions interviews held in Malaysia and Singapore for applicants to all Cambridge Colleges. He continues to lead this programme and the team of interviewers, which has now grown to consist of eight senior academics representing all subject areas and has expanded to include interviews for applicants in other parts of Asia and Australasia.
