在2023年8月19日这一天，我校女童军于下午一点半至三点半在校内篮球场举办了一年一度的操步比赛。这个比赛是由中五高级女童军策划举办，其目的是为了提高女童军们的警觉与观察能力，促进女童军们的合作精神与彼此之间的协调，更是为了锻炼我校女童军们成为一个自律的人。当日，全体女童军在主楼课室前集合，与自己的组员互相加油打气并列队做好完全的准备。为了保证公平，所有组别的出赛次序都是随机抽取的，一经召集则该组别的组员必须马上赶往篮球场报到。每一组别都必须拥有十位参赛者，包括一名指挥者。有着较多经验的中五高级女童军会作为此次比赛的裁判并根据女童军们的操步基础知识，动作协调性，整齐程度各个方面来定夺冠军及评价他们的表现。对于指挥者，裁判们则会根据她所给予指令的响亮程度与清晰度做出决断。通过这项比赛，她们能够能燃起女童军们为了胜利和达到完美结局的决心，也让她们深刻地领悟到了团队合作的重要性，也增加了女童军们之间的感情。

     On 19 August 2023, the Girl Guides of our school held the annual drilling competition at the school basketball court from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. This competition is planned and organized by the Form Five Girl Guides. Its purpose is to improve the vigilance and observation ability of the Girl Guides, to promote the spirit of cooperation and coordination between the Girl Guides, and to train the Girl Guides of our school to become self-disciplined persons. On that day, all the Girl Guides gathered in front of the classrooms of the main building, cheered each other up with their team members and lined up to make full preparations. In order to ensure fairness, the playing order of all groups is randomly selected. Once called, the members of this group must rush to the basketball court to register their names. Each category must have ten competitors, including a conductor. Senior Girl Guides with more experience will be the referees for this competition and will determine the champion and evaluate their performance based on the girls' basic knowledge of steps, movement coordination, and neatness. As for the conductor, the judges will make a decision based on the loudness and clarity of the instructions she gives. Through this competition, they can ignite the determination of the Girl Guides to win and achieve a perfect ending, and let them deeply understand the importance of teamwork, and also increase the feelings among the Girl Guides.
