在2023年8月19日，女童军们在校内馆场举办了横幅设计比赛。此次比赛的目的是为了激发女童军们的创意并锻炼她们的艺术天赋以及时间观念。此外，此次活动也可以增进感情，锻炼女童军们与队员们之间的默契也可以使用横幅来提高对特定问题、活动或社会议题的意识。通过分组设计横幅可以帮助学生感受到她们属于一个共同体，共同为某个目标而努力，从而增强集体认同感。 不同成员的创意和想法汇集在一起，可以创造出更丰富多样的横幅设计，从而提升创意水平。学生需要就设计概念、颜色选择、排版布局等方面进行沟通和协商，这有助于提升他们的沟通技能。当日，全体女童军于主楼的教室前集合列队。此次比赛的主题为“明日岛”，与未来相关。女童军们必须选用规定尺寸的横幅并以壁画颜料上色。比赛的一星期前，每个组别必须完成百分之八十的横幅。当所有组别都完成了所需的材料准备，比赛便马上开始。在一个小时内，每组的参赛者必须完成剩余的百分之二十的部分。完成横幅后各组长需向中五的高级女童军（裁判）报道并展示作品。评分根据几点如创意，表现，整洁，努力，实用性和整体观感。横幅设计比赛的赢家将在年尾的欢送会上公布。一年一度的横幅设计比赛以各个组别的创意与上进而为整个比赛填上了非凡的意义。

     On 19 August 2023, the Girl Guides held a banner design competition in the pavilion. The purpose of this competition is to stimulate the creativity of Girl Guides and exercise their artistic talent and sense of time. Additionally, the event can be a bonding experience that builds rapport between Girl Guides and fellow Guides. Banners can also be used to raise awareness of a specific issue, event, or social issue. Designing banners in groups can help students feel that they belong to a community and work together towards a certain goal, thereby enhancing a sense of collective identity. The creativity and ideas of different members come together to create richer and more diverse banner designs, thus raising the level of creativity. Students need to communicate and negotiate on design concepts, color choices, typographic layouts and others, which helps to improve their communication skills. On that day, all Girl Guides gathered in front of the classrooms in the main building. The theme of this competition is "Tomorrow Land", which is related to the future. Girl Guides must choose a banner of the specified size and color it with mural paint. One week before the competition, each group must complete 80 percent of the banners. When all groups have completed the required material preparation, the competition will begin immediately. Competitors in each group must complete the remaining 20 percent within one hour. After completing the banner, each group leader needs to report and display the work to the Senior Girl Guides (referee) in Form 5. Scoring is based on points such as creativity, presentation, cleanliness, effort, practicality and overall look and feel. The winner of the banner design competition will be announced at the year-end farewell party. The annual banner design competition has filled the entire competition with extraordinary significance with the creativity and progress of each group.
