为了挖掘会员在戏剧领域的潜能，槟华女中戏剧研究会于2023年8月26日，上午10时至下午12时30分在本校视听室举办了一年一度的校内戏剧比赛。校内戏剧比赛由戏剧研究会的中四及中五筹委策划，并由中三筹委或资深会员领队。所有戏剧研究会会员都须参与其中，中五会员则可选择是否要加入。在会员们的用心和漫长筹备之下，各个组别在全组人员的努力配合下向家长们呈现一个个创意且有趣的作品。 在技术彩排当天，各组必须在限制的时间之内进行技术上的彩排，例如灯光、音响、布景以及道具摆位等。在总彩排当天，各组则需要将比赛作品完整地呈现给中四筹委审查。而在比赛正日，各组都争分夺秒地为演员们化妆以及做最后的准备。今年的比赛评审为槟华女中戏剧研究会的已毕业学姐，她们通过各自在戏剧领域的专业知识为各组的作品进行评分。比赛结束后，中四筹委举办了家长和会员的互动环节；评审则在这时讨论评分结果。校内戏剧比赛在评审会之后划上唯美的句号。通过此次校内戏剧比赛，戏剧研究会的会员不仅更了解戏剧，她们也从中领悟了团结以及团队默契的重要性。一场完美的戏需要台前以及幕后的完美配合。

     To polish the hidden talent of drama club’s member, PCGHS Drama Club Organised ‘PCGHS Drama Competition’ on 26th August 2023. The competition was held at the Auditorium of PCGHS, from 8am to 12.30pm. This drama competition was planned by Form 4 and Form 5 Committees, every group was led by Form 3 Committees or experienced members. Members from drama clubs are compulsory to join the drama competition, except for Form 5 members(optional). Every group performed drama shows that are creative and interesting to their parents and teacher. On the day of Tech Run, every group has to run through on their technique, such as lighting, sound or markings on props. On the day of Full Run, every group needs to show full performance to Form 4 committees to ensure that there are no prohibited topics involved.While on the day of competition, every group member tries their best to be well prepared on everything. Judges of “2023 PCGHS Drama Competition’ are ex-seniors from PCGHS Drama Club, they judged every production from their professional perspective. A QnA section among contestants and their family members was held after the competition ; while judges was discussing the results during this moment. ‘2023 Drama Competition’ ended successfully. Members of PCGHS Drama Club get to know more about drama through this competition. Besides,they also learned about the importance of teamwork and cooperation.
