本校华乐团于2023年8月29日参加了在菩提中学举办的马来西亚禾乐国际艺术节。在强手如林的比赛中，本校华乐团以一首《达姆达姆》成功杀进决赛并取得了荣誉金的好成绩。此番荣誉金并非一举夺魁的事情，华乐团在预赛时以一抵十四并成功地进入了只有五个名额的决赛。为了此次比赛，团员们都下了一番苦功夫，每个人都为了此场比赛而延长练习时间，从早8点训练至下午4点，连续两个月如此训练便是为了在比赛中取得好成绩，事实也向大众证明了那句名言：‘努力就会有收获’。除此之外，本校华乐团除了参与合奏赛，也有团员向主席报名参加独奏赛。吹管乐，弹拨乐，拉弦组都各有几名团员参与了比赛。即使她们止步于预赛，她们还是成为了团员们的榜样，并从她们身上学习到了勇敢，勤奋等道德价值观。希望本校华乐团可在来年的艺术节再接再厉，再迎辉煌，更上一层楼！

     The school Chinese Orchestra participated in the Malaysia Hele International Art Festival held at Bodhi Secondary School on August 29, 2023. In the competition with strong opponents, the Chinese Orchestra of the school successfully entered the final with the song "Damu Damu" and won the honorary gold medal. The honorary gold is not a matter of winning the championship in one fell swoop. The Chinese Orchestra scored one to fourteen in the preliminaries and successfully entered the final which only has five places. For this competition, the team members worked hard. Everyone has extended the practice time for this competition, from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Good grades, and the facts have also proved the famous saying to the public: "Efforts will pay off". In addition, apart from participating in the ensemble competition, the Chinese Orchestra of the school also has its members register with the president of the orchestra for the solo competition. Wind music group , plucked string music group , and pulling strings music group each had several members participating in the competition. Even though they stopped in the preliminaries, they became role models for the members and learned moral values ​​such as bravery and hard work from them. It's hoped that the Chinese Orchestra of our school is able to make persistent efforts in the next year's arts festival, welcomes the glory again, and reach a higher level!
