English Language Week Afternoon Session 2009

     The English Language Society S.M.J.K. Poi Lam held an English Language Week during April 2009. During the opening ceremony, the President and the Vice-President of English Language Society was the Master of ceremony. First, Mr. Kanagaraj who is the teacher in charge of the English Language Week gave a speech. After declaring the opening of the English Language Week, Liew San Foong from Form 1A1 gave a speech to the students. After the meaningful speech, Ling Tan Yeh from Form 2A3 sang some songs after the opening ceremony.

     After the perfomance, the English Language Society had a word puzzle game for the students. There were 5 chances for each student. Student had to form a word from the letters given. The student who formed the correct word will win a prize.

     During the English Language Week, English Essay Competition and Public Speaking Competition were held. Prizes were given to the winners of the competition after the English Language Week.

     I hope that next year the English Language Week will be better organized.
