The government has decided to build a pedestrian in front of Sam Tet secondary school, Yuk Choy High School and Yuk Choy Primary School. This profitable project was initiated on the plot of land next to Sam Tet secondary school. It was attended by the students from schools.

       The ceremony began with presentations such as drum-beating, hoola-hoop dance, chinese cultural and modern Indian dance from the students.

       A speech was given by Y.B Dato' Ho Cheng Wang. He said that these projects which cost RM2.7 million is the combines effort of the MCA, the education ministry and the government.

       The Menteri Beasr of Perak, Y.A.B Dato Seri Diraja Mohamad Tajol Rosli B.Ghazah said that the Malaysian Government is fair to all citizens. The Sam Tet pedestrian bridge is personally approved by the Prime Minister while the Yuk Choy High School pedestrian bridge is approved by Dato' Ong Ka Ting. The Yuk Choy Primary School pedestrian project is approved by the state government.
