Schools Adoption Plan
SMJK Sin Min has recently been shortlisted for Informatics Sungai Petani’s Adoption Plan. Under this plan, the school is able to enjoy 8 benefits as follow:
1. Complimentary ICT & Langauage training for teachers.
- 20 teachers for ICT training i.e. Microsoft products, USB accounting, PC Maintenance course, Macromedia, HTML, and introduction to PC.
2. Complimentary career talk, Multimedia workshop, Motivational Talk, PC Maintenance workshop, College tour for students.
3. School Counsellor Scholarship
I) 50% scholarship will be awarded to 5 students*
II) 100% scholarship will be awarded to 2 students*
*School or counsellor shall nominate these students and their results must meet with the minimum entry requirement of the programme they intend to take.
4. Sponsorship in school magazine, sports day and graduation day.
5. The school computer club members will be provided with complimentary ICT courses:
i) Limited to 20 students
ii) Types of courses offered are subject to Informatics discretion.
6. The school computer club members are allowed to utilize Informatics’ computers lab during weekends.
7. Students registration :
- For every 10 students registering for Diploma programmes, a unit of PC will be allocated to the school.
8. Teachers and their immediate family members will enjoy 30% scholarship for any diploma courses.
