The finals for the Kuala Muda /Yan Basketball Tournament were held at the SMJK Sin Min Court for the boys under 15 and under 18 on 29 June 2003 in the afternoon followed by the prize-giving ceremony with the District Education Officer in attendance.
SMJK Sin Min beat SMK Batu Lima Jeniang 99 : 50 in the boys under 18 to emerge District Champion while SMK Bedong beat SMK Gurun 73 : 72 in the boys under 15.
